‘Absolutely San Francisco’ returns to Phoenix Theatre Sept. 24 ![]() Produced by Not Quite Opera, the show features the characters of an ex-billionaire; a homeless wife obsessed with marrying Gavin Newsom; a gay wine merchant recently divorced from his lover; and a Chinese immigrant souvenir shopkeeper, as they all struggle with their dreams on a mysteriously broken-down, fogged-in cable car. Music by local composers Brad Erickson, Diane Sampson, Dwight Okamura, Chuck Ver Burg; with musical arrangements by Trevor Doherty and Dwight Okamura.
