Dear Editor:
It’s hard to believe it’s been eight years since the Brazen Head started this event, but we are now focusing on the upcoming block party in 2008 and of course, our 10-year anniversary in 2009. To all of our friends who have donated their time, resources and effort over the years to this cause, I thank you from the heart. Together we have raised a lot of money that is going to have a real impact on helping people. We have the best customers in this great city and we appreciate you and thank you for your continued support.
The Marina Times and Northside San Francisco have been steady benefactors of our block party and this cause. We look forward to our continued collaboration and success.
Dear Editor:
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed your Publisher’s Note, “Does Jasmine look fat in this?” in the December issue. Our golden retriever weighs a few pounds more than he should and when we walk him in the Marina, it’s amazing the dirty looks we get! But I agree it’s important to get a dog’s weight under control for health reasons, so our dog will be right there with Jasmine – less treats, more exercise.
Alice Liu We brought our kids to Macy’s to meet Jasmine Blue and just wanted to tell you that she is even more beautiful in person and sweet as can be. She is indeed a model pit bull! We enjoy the column and look forward to more of her adventures.
Jonathan Riggs Thank you for your review of Bobo’s steakhouse in last month’s issue. After reading your first review in the Marina Times several years ago, we went to Bobo’s and have been going ever since for what is without a doubt the best steak in the City.
