Animal Connection celebrated their 20th year in the Marina last year, making them one of the forerunners of pet care on the Northside. While the small store may not have the flash of the newer boutiques in The City, a wide range of quality foods, natural supplements, accessories and gifts for pets – all at reasonable prices – is packed into the small store. The equally stylish Babies Web site has a unique feature – shop by price range, as well as by product! Babies can host birthday parties for your dog, complete with a cookie smorgasbord and a doggie birthday cake. And Michael, the proprietor, gives back to the community through partnership programs with SF/SPCA, PAWS and Rocket Dog Rescue.
